Membership is a privilege, not a right.  Members who fail to adhere to KARS Park rules will have their membership revoked.

Active, permanent badged NASA/KSC/CCAFS Civil Service and Contractor employees, their family members and guests, and official visitors of KSC.   Other NASA employees who are KSC tenants   NASA/KSC/CCAFS Civil Service and Contractor retirees (must provide evidence of NASA/KSC/CCAFS employment at the time of retirement)   Grandfathered current club, sports league, and affiliated organization members who fall under the "10% community at large" rule who possess a calendar year 2002 KARS membership card will be permitted to renew their KARS membership upon verification of eligibility. As the "10% community at large" members leave the club, sports league, or affiliated organization (i.e., do not renew their annual membership), they and no new community at large members will be permitted to join.

Membership fees are considered revenue by the Exchange to offset operational costs.  Purchase of KARS Park Membership cards is as follows:

Active NASA civil service employees and NASA/KSC/CCAFS retirees - $10.00   Active KSC/CCAFS contractor employees - $15.00   Membership cards may be purchased at the NASA Exchange Stores located in the Headquarters Building (HQ), Operations and Checkout (O&C) Building, Space Station Processing Facility (SSPF), Operations Support Building (OSB), and the KARS Park I Country Store.   Membership cards will be valid for one calendar year (January 1 through December 31). There will be no pro-rata membership fee (i.e., membership cards purchased in August will still be $10.00/$15.00, as applicable).
