BOATING
Marina - Wet Slip (includes sea wall) - first come, first served
 
Boat Slip Rate:    $5.00 per night (member)
$7.50 per night (guest)
 
Registered campers may rent a boat slip for a period of 3 weeks and must register boat at the KARS Country Store.

Members may rent a boat slip for a period of 72 hours and must register boat at the KARS Country Store. Members/Guest staying on their boat overnight will be charged the appropriate RV camping fee.

Members/guests attending day picnics, gatherings, etc., may use boat slips at no cost. Boat slips with a yellow flag are occupied and may not be used.
 
 
BOATING/MARINA RULES

  • Available to NASA/KSC employees or authorized persons who possess a valid current KARS membership card.
     
  • First come, first served basis
     
  • Members, guests, and visitors may rent a boat slip for a period of three (3) weeks and must register their boat at the KARS Country Store
     
  • Other agencies such as marine patrol, Coast Guard, Department of Environmental Protection if approved by the NASA Exchange Council.
     
  • Motors (Fuel or Electric) are prohibited north out of the KARS Marina.
     
  • During certain launches non-motorized boating such as canoeing will be prohibited north of the marina to NASA Causeway.
     
  • Visitors attending daytime picnics, gatherings, etc., may use the marina at no cost on a first come, first served basis.
     
  • Boat slips with a yellow flag are occupied and may not be used.
     
  • Boats mooring overnight at seawall must also register at KARS Country Store
     
  • No personal watercraft are allowed in the KARS Park marina.
